Litvinov and his role as ambassador for the Soviet Union to the U.S. during World War II" - Research on the activities of Maxim M. Litvinov in his capacity as the USSR’s ambassador to the United States during World War II; focus on Litviniov’s career as a young revolutionary, as a Deputy Commissar for Foreign Affairs in the 1920s and as the USSR’s third Commissar for Foreign Affairs from 1930 to 1939.
