Isabella Canavá

Mexico Institute Staff Intern

Isabella Canavá is a rising senior at Yale University, majoring in history and completing the Multidisciplinary Academic Program in Human Rights. Before joining the Wilson Center, she worked for the Refugee Representation team of Human Rights First and completed campus-based research projects for NGOs and Civil Society actors. Isabella was born and raised along the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. Her interests include access to justice, forced migration, gender-based violence, and the promotion of democracy and human rights.
