August - September 1979: Title VIII Short Term Scholar: "Aspects of Current Soviet Aesthetic Theory" - Explores aspects of Soviet aesthetic theory since Stalin, including semiotics, design, decorative art, and art education. Investigates Soviet aesthetics to these fields in order to define and assess their contributions to aesthetic theory.
