Full Biography
Dr. Maria Shagina is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Eastern European Studies at the University of Zurich and a member of the Geneva International Sanctions Network. Her research interests cover international sanctions and energy politics, with a particular focus on the post-Soviet states. Her work has been published by the European Council on Foreign Relations, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, the Atlantic Council, The Diplomat, and New Eastern Europe.
