Expert Bio

Miguel Angel Valenzuela is the former chief corporate sustainability officer of Kuo (formerly Grupo DESC), one of Mexico’s principal industrial conglomerates. He is currently executive director of The Lexington Group Mexico where he has led competitiveness and sustainability projects for both public and private sector clients. He is an advisor to Mexico’s National Chemical Industry Association on the circular economy and greenhouse gas emission. He holds a chemical engineering degree from the Mexico’s National University and has done post graduate study in Environmental Leadership and Business Administration at Yale University.
