Overview

Despite facing a number of daunting economic and political challenges the past few years, Guatemala has made some important strides in dealing with the chronic problems of underdevelopment, crime and violence. Important elements of Guatemala’s private sector have come together to outline an action plan known as Mejoremos Guate – or Let’s make Guate better.
