Full Biography
Rory Linehan is the Director of Global Engagement at the G20 Global Infrastructure Hub (GIH). In this role, he leads a team to build partnerships that facilitate sustainable, resilient, and inclusive infrastructure across G20 countries and the private sector.
Before to joining the Hub, Rory was the Regional Director of International Relations for APAC at Jacobs where he forged new partnerships to support over US$2 billion in revenue with clients across the region.
Prior to Jacobs, Rory ran the Australian Government’s Infrastructure Unit in the United States at the Australian Embassy where he oversaw Australia’s infrastructure engagement with the White House, Congress, and state governors.
Rory brings over a decade’s international business experience. He has held senior government and private sector roles in Australia, Canada and the United States. A former civil servant and diplomat at Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Rory has led Australian government priorities across the Indo-Pacific, including the advocacy for Australia’s Free Trade Agreements with China, Japan, Korea and the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Australian National University, Canberra and a master’s degree in International Relations from Macquarie University, Sydney. Rory is a member of the international infrastructure consultancy firm, Toraza Zenith’s Advisory Board, an advisor to the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero and the Sustainable Markets Initiative Measurement and Transparency Taskforce.
