Serhiy Kudelia is a faculty member of the Political Science Department at Baylor University where he teaches courses on civil wars, terrorism, authoritarianism and post-Soviet politics. He has written extensively on the armed conflict in Donbas and conducted field research in the region in 2014-2015. Earlier he held teaching and research positions at the University of Toronto, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and National University Kyiv Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). He is also a member of the Program on New Approaches to Research and Security (PONARS) in Eurasia, a worldwide network of scholars studying the post-Soviet states.
