    Full Biography

    Tyler Kirk is an Assistant Professor of History and the Assistant Director of Arctic and Northern Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In 2016-17 he was a Fulbright scholar in Syktyvkar, Russia where he conducted research for his doctoral dissertation and current book manuscript: "Remembering the Gulag: Coming to Terms with the Past in Russia’s Far North, 1987-2020."
