Too Hot To Handle: Assessing the Impact of Climate Change
Beyond partisan political debates, scientists are attempting to understand the reality and implications of a warming planet. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has released a new report that assesses a wide range of vulnerabilities related to rising temperatures.
We spoke with one of the reports contributors, Geoff Dabelko, who serves as Director of Environmental Studies for the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University, and also as a Senior Advisor to the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program. He provides context on the report’s findings.
