Andrea serves as Program Assistant to the Wilson Center's Mexico Institute with a specific focus on the areas of Innovation, Entrepeneurship, Cybersecurity and Energy.  She assists with program implementation, research, curating program content, and operational support. Andrea plays a crucial role in key programming around congressional initiatives, such as the "High Level Innovation Forum for Policy Makers" and "The Cybersecurity Lab for Mexican Policymakers." Prior to this position, she was a Scholar Research Assistant Intern for Senior Fellow and Distinguished Scholar Robin Wright, and coolaborated with the digital project "The Islamists Are Coming".  Andrea Tanco received a B.A. in Government from Smith College in Northampton, Massachussetts. She is also an alumna from Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong.
