Bio

Spencer is a Program Assistant to the Wilson Center's Science and Technology Innovation Program (STIP), with a specific focus on the program's Digital Futures Project. Spencer assists with overall program management, operational support, curating program content, event planning, and research capacities surrounding emerging issues in the cybersecurity and artificial intelligence disciplines. He also is instrumental in key programming around congressional outreach and training, such as the Digital Futures Project's Congressional Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Labs. He received his BA in Global Politics from Cal Poly SLO and is currently earning an MA from the George Washington University in security and technology policy studies.
