Full Biography

Susan Colbourn is a Ph.D. Candidate in History and a fellow at the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral dissertation, entitled Defining Détente: NATO’s Struggle for Identity, 1975–1984, examines the Atlantic Alliance’s debates over and responses to the perceived collapse of détente.
