    Full Biography

    Tobias Naef is a doctoral student at the University of Zurich. He holds degrees in law (MLaw, BLaw) and political science (BArts) from the Universities of Bern and Zurich. In 2018 he received a scholarship from the Swiss National Science Foundation to conduct research for his doctoral thesis as a visiting fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge and the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam. He previously worked for the Swiss Foreign Ministry, a boutique law firm in New York, the World Trade Institute at the University of Bern and the Europe Institute at the University of Zurich. Tobias Naef is a co-founder and current board member of Zurich based foreign policy think tank foraus - Forum Aussenpolitik.
