Eric L. Olson, Associate Director of the Latin American Program, was interviewed about children and organized crime in Central America on KCRW's podcast “To the Point.” The segment touches on children leaving Central American countries-such as El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala-who are running from extortion, rape, and murder at home and their journey northward through Mexico.

The podcast also references the Latin American Program's Report "Organized Crime in Central America: The Northern Triangle."
